Cooler Air For Southern ON This Coming Weekend

This period will feature scattered showers (also mixed in with some sun), and below normal temperatures. Nothing teeth shattering, but still enough where a sweater might be warranted in the evenings and not many great beach days. Normal highs across S/E Ontario for this period are around 26-27C. Expect to see highs around 21C-22C in cottage country and 23C-25C in the GTA/Ottawa area, which is still comfortable. But a far cry from the dog days of summer one might expect for this time of year.

Here’s a four day period beginning Saturday showing the cold air over the region.

After this, temps look to moderate back towards normal (26-27C) across the area with a few days of slightly above normal (28-30C). At this point there are no heat spells in sight for Eastern Canada over the next 14 days.
