Parts of interior BC could face more flooding as the next dynamic disturbance rolls onshore from the Gulf of Alaska.

Areas only recently impacted by significant rainfall in combination with milder temps and subsequent melting snow are in line for another round of showers and thunderstorms over the next few days. Preparations and evacuations have been ongoing in some of these locales due to the preceding conditions, as well as this expected incoming moisture.

The upper trough instigating this activity is fairly anomalous in terms of it’s depth and the time of year, steadily pushing SE through the late weekend into early next week.
