The system wasn’t as strong as the models predicted but still a decent rain maker, and really the heaviest rain since early spring for most.  Looks like the GFS model had the best handle on this system.  Central Ont was the winner with almost 81 mm yesterday in Bancroft, as was parts of Southern Western Ont and spots along the shores of Lake Ont that got a few storms mixed in.  Many places around 40 mm, much less around the GTA.  Belleville had around 46 mm.  Ottawa airport was only 26 mm, I recorded 30 mm at my place.  Montreal area also had good totals around 67 mm.

Warm the rest of the week with more humidity and cooling down by Sunday/Monday with a front coming through.  Next week and the next 15 days still looks closer to normal in Ont & Que.
