Enjoy another hot weekend with temps in the 30 – 32c with humidity building. It will end similar to last weekend with a cold front moving through Northern Quebec that will linger until Wednesday for Eastern Ontario, bringing cool weather mid week. However this time the front looks to move through S.ON overnight Sunday into Monday so the storms should be less severe. On the models the front looks more formed and potential for everyone to get a quick 10mm down pour but they looked that way last week too. I think they will be scattered once again so it’s possible someone misses on much need rain.
Things look to be near normal for the rest of the week (expect below normal on Tuesday & Wednesday with the NW flow) into the long weekend, temperatures around 25-27c most days. There could be some on and off convective showers over the next 10 days but for the most part things look dry and fair.
Some discrepancies on the models for the long range, not surprising given the time of year and a weak jet stream, but the Euro model looks hot and dry for the rest of July.
Stay cool 🙂
